To think there are not other worlds or dimensions where we live closer to what we actually are is pure folly. The spiritual master, Swami Paramahansa Yogananda, gives us a glimpse of this: from God comes the three spheres or realms of existence, the Causal (the Idea), the Astral (the Energy) and the Physical (Matter/Earth). We don’t have adequate words to explain the utopian experience of the Physical world as intended by God (the Garden of Eden). And how could this author, or any other being know the intention of God? The best explanation I can surmise is the ancient story of the “fallen archangel” (Satan [the adversary]) and Adam and Eve. The Physical world is dualistic by nature. Therefore, an opposing unseen force (satan or ego) to the benevolent unseen force (god or heart/love) had to come into being. For physical (matter) to appear in the realm of time and space (relativity), there must be its opposite polarity (eg. day and night, this and that, good and evil, yin and yang, God and Satan, etc...). This adversarial force (ego) appropriates the intended benevolent force for itself, causing the undifferentiated benevolent force in the physical realm (the Soul in the body) to be separated or split off from its true nature (spirit or essence). The ancient battle between good and evil, or matter and spirit. Via the physical sense organs, the ego (adversary) claims the world we see, including the separated entity, the so named “person” identity [body and mind]) as reality. This “believed in” claim of the ego fragments the Mind and Soul (makes two). The Soul, or essence of God within, keeps the undifferentiated benevolent force (Soul) intact for us. The Soul, our unseen knowing of Truth, Existence, love and joy, is perpetually seeking its way back to the unseen benevolent realm, and is ignored by the individual mind (the adversary or ego) for that very same reason, it’s the unseen and therefore doesn’t exist. By way of the natural draw, the Soul seeks reunion with the whole, reality as intended. The magnetic-like appeal to the Soul (benevolent unseen force within us) for return to the wholeness it is, without interference from the adversary (mind/ego). The Infinite existence we are, the One total ALL. Whole and complete, right from the start—right here, right now! Only covered up by the adversarial unseen force as experienced through our physical senses. The invisible realm is paradoxical to what the mind, as adversary, thinks it knows. We are intended to evolve, to merge what appears as finite to our senses, to the unseen infinite we really are. Leo Hartong, a contemporary seer, puts awakening to our true nature like this: “The ordinary and extraordinary are the same. The spiritual and the material have merged. There is not something very spiritual and something very material. Matter turns out to be energy patterns and spiritual turns out to be thought patterns. What’s the difference?”

Valentinus, in The Gospel of Truth, puts it like this:
“Since oblivion came into existence because the
Father was not known, then if the Father comes to be
known, oblivion will not exist from that moment on.
This is the gospel of the one who is searched for,
which was revealed to those who are perfect through
the mercies of the Father—the hidden mystery, Jesus,
the Christ. Through it he enlightened those in
darkness.… Since the deficiency came into being
because the Father was not known, therefore when
the Father is known, from that moment on the
deficiency will no longer exist. As with the ignorance
of a person, when he comes to have knowledge his
ignorance vanishes of itself as the darkness vanishes
when light appears, so also the deficiency vanishes in
the perfection. So from that moment on the form is
not apparent, but it will vanish in the fusion of Unity,
for now their works lie scattered. In time Unity will
perfect the spaces. It is within Unity that each one
will attain himself; within knowledge he will purify
himself from multiplicity into Unity, consuming matter
within himself like fire, and darkness by light, death
by life.”

God IS the cause of our being. There is no other than He. He is not physical in any way. He cannot be described. He has attributes but no form. He is Love ungrasped. No one can see Him for He IS everyone and every thing. He permeates the mind. He IS the mind. He is available to all that seek Him in earnest. Regardless of how foul they have been before. He cast out all foulness. He is invisible but does exist. He is the cause of all there IS. Seek Him now for He awaits your love. He IS the divine Father, the Holy Ground. Remove your masks and step into He. He speaks in religious tongue, no heathen can hear, and in modern garb for those who want to hear. He comes in mysterious ways. His ways are unknown. The individual mind will never know Him, try as it may. Surrender to He is His will. His will is the only Real will. Great art the Father, for He gives all things. And great art I for the Father. His rest eternal.  Great art thou O’Holy One. Thou art the Father of All. One. You give rest to your children and in You they rest. Thou art the All from which we came and to who we will return. Thou art our Lord and Savior, Amen … Peace Peace Peace

What’s happening right now, in this present moment, is the only thing important. The mind creates duality, which includes time and space. It is a matter of attention and focus. The brain is your servant. Not the other way around. If you place your attention (awareness) on the present moment now, and continue to bring the mind back to the now every time you catch it wandering off, eventually it will get the message. Don’t allow the mind to create time, which only exists in the mind. Mind lives in story, future and past, where it can imagine a body. Mind cannot imagine the unseen (spirit, essence). The present moment is nothing (no thing) to mind because it is an activity happening now. Not a thing. Not a seen. No time for the mind to imagine a body. Life flowing through, animating and functioning the body mind object. The natural capacity to reason arises from nothing (no thing), to aid the organism. Stimulus and response functioning. There is no I that does this. It just comes up; arises or happens. There is no I doing any of this. The Knowing knows this. There is no separate I to claim the natural Knowing. It arises effortlessly. If an I thought arises it is the natural functioning of the organism also. Thoughts that arise and flow through the organism, not to be claimed by any me, my, mine, or I. Separateness is the illusion. There is nothing that is separate. Only one vast cosmic ocean (consciousness) consisting of, or appearing as, a diversity and multiplicity of objects. Bring the mind to the “feeling realization” of the mind’s thought: I am.

Every being on this earth is responsible for hisself/herself. We are commanded to work. To feed ourselves, to raise our family, and to give back when appropriate. And work takes many forms, being as we are intended to be. The human being was not intended to be a parasite, feeding off others. If that were the case you would have been born a germ. You are on the top rung of Earth’s evolutionary ladder. The next rung is a giant evolutionary step of faith. To realize what you have always already been, all along. Involution; you are born. Evolution; you grow and expand. Devolution; you stick your head back in the sand. The sand of unconsciousness, the sensory world. It’s your choice. The one road leads to ever new realms of existence. The other, dooms you to return to Earth to learn again; and again and again, until you get it right. Many great masters give you one simple clue: “you are not your body nor mind.” That is the starting point to look into your true nature. As author David Carse states, in Perfect Brilliant Stillness: “The complete understanding is not likely to happen while sitting on your butt.” Effortless action is needed. There is nothing you as an individual self can do, as long as you think there’s a you. Separation is the illusion, here too.

Our Heavenly Father (a term I use when turning my attention to the great mystery of Life and how it came to be), never intended this world of sensory perceptions to be the means to an end, or an end all in itself, but recognized as a temporary enjoyment of His great love. Can you own a snowflake? Or a drop of rain? These are examples of the transient nature of the world we find ourselves in. And, with a little diligent looking, you will realize the transient nature of every object you see. What good does it serve to stockpile anything of the world for the mere pleasure of calling it yours? Can you take any of these objects with you when the body breaks down and your Life Force leaves? From the moment the body is born, it is inevitable that it will die. Look at any other object of this world and you will see its transient nature. Eventually everything breaks down, dissolves, or becomes something else. Consciousness (God) is the container that holds every object. All objects are the mind or dream of God. All dreams are transient, as are your dreams at night. Another example for us, regarding the transient nature of relativity, appearing in the cosmic ocean of God’s mind. As children we relied on our father and mother to teach by example the ways of this world. We looked to them for truth and comfort. But they could only teach what they “thought” to know. And they were in error, and now we are in error. Blessed are we now, who know the true Father and Mother, and suckle and learn Truth anew. In this material realm, where we are continually bombarded with the message that our physicality is the only thing real, it is imperative we seek out other like minds. Minds that harbor the same Knowing—that we are much more than this physical body. Minds that are struggling to evolve. Paramhansa Yogananda writes the following with regards to this practicality:

“When Jesus said, ‘Where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I,’ he stressed the power of united concentration: When two or a few devotees come together for inner worship of God, the stronger divine concentration of one person strengthens the weaker concentration of another. But if such gatherings are merely a cause for discussion and gossip, halfhearted recitation of prayers, or absentminded rituals, with no real inner communing with God, it is unlikely that the Divine Guest of Honor will be felt in their midst. Jesus' exhortation was a call for sincere devotees to unite the depths of their meditation in hearing "my name," Cosmic Vibratory Sound, Aum, announcing that "there am I," Christ Consciousness, "in the midst of them." In the Cosmic Vibration they will feel the Christ Intelligence become manifest within their own uplifted consciousness.”

God appears in mysterious ways, not He Hisself. He reveals Hisself through the nuance of whole mind and other ways foreign to you. Everything is phenomenal energy space, beyond comprehension. You cannot think your way to God with God’s creation of mind. When the I, as individual mind, is seen as a pseudo subject and not the Real, all thoughts are seen to arise from the omniscient power of God via Consciousness. Effortless Being. All objects appear in the container of God, Consciousness. So—without the pseudo I, or the object that’s seen (I see this or that), all is recognized to arise from the One. The seer and seen, the thinker and thought, the knower and known, the seeker and sought, etc.. Nothing can come from outside of Hisself. There is only One, an all inclusive All, One! Nothingness  happened or manifested, and we call it The Big Bang. From the nothing, or the unmanifested empty, the Big Bang happened and manifestation appeared, or came into existence. And today, this moment, this IS life as we know it, or everything seen; the Big Bang, or God’s manifestation. That is what the Mahāvākyas, the great sayings you will see in many of the eastern scriptures points too: That Thou Art. I am That. This is That. Every thing is That. And in Christian scripture; “Tell them my name is I am.” I am that I am, and so are you. We are all the essence of God, appearing in a body in a material world. The vessel of our Lord (cognizing energy) we call the body. The body is a thing, a pattern of energy appearing in Consciousness. Consciousness is a word we use that describes or points to the Big Bang manifestation of God. Every ‘thing’ appears in Consciousness. Consciousness is all there IS—and you are That! A pre conceptual, invisible, essence or spirit, contained in a body in a physical world.

Another way to look at the Whole is this: There is the One Universal Intelligence, One Whole or Unborn Mind, God if you like, imagining, creating, and maintaining All. The human being is a part of this same intelligence. The same intelligence that functions the entire well ordered universe. The same primal intelligence that causes the planets to rotate and revolve continually around the Sun, seasons to occur, moving tides in and out, rain falling and moisture evaporating, producing atmosphere on Earth, for trees and insects and animals to exist, including that very life you call you, the Human animal, a mammal, to live. Then thinking happens and the ego is born, dividing the whole, seemingly creating two competing animals, the one of the natural well ordered universe and the one that claims it is separate from the natural intelligence of creation. Ego claiming it is this one small independent fraction, apart from the all. The all that is beating your heart, breathing your lungs, digesting your food, growing your hair, producing cells in the body; AND reasoning  your one Whole Mind…causing thoughts, feelings, and sensations to occur. All part of the natural functioning of the well ordered universe.

The livingness happens, the natural activity of the Whole operating the human organism. The reasoning function is our God given gift. A gift, that aides the organism when needed. Like the tiger’s gift is stripes and color, to blend with his environment, and speed and claws to aide in his kill. And like the birds have keen sight, and wings to take flight, to catch their meal and escape being prey, and the rabbits have legs adapted for speed and hop to escape their predators while they feed on plants. The whole universe is a delicate balance of give and take, cause and effect.

You are the very activity of living…pure energy…knowing…without a thought or word to describe it. The describing is mind…concept…the false self center…the fictional vapor know as a ‘me,’ which has no validity whatsoever beyond that which you were taught and came to believe. There is no conceptual entity operating the organism. Only pure energy…livingness in action…the activity of life happening in the eternal present moment.

Just like a reflection in a mirror has no validity other than to appear in the mirror, the ego has no validity whatsoever except for how it appears in Consciousness. Neither the mirror nor Consciousness is tainted by whatever appears in them. The appearance in the mirror, or appearance in Consciousness, can only remain there when fixated on or believed to be real. If belief (an unconscious thought pattern) in a self-center reference point (ego/me) is seen as anything other than a temporary appearance in Consciousness (as it is), the unconscious belief in a “me” remains. See the reflection as reflection only, no me, my, mine, I, exists (never has). Seen as it is, only a taught belief, it can only dissolve. We’re a product of our conditioned programming (mind), change the programming and a new product is produced. And the programming is changed by God. Seek Him now.

Be silent, be still, and trust the well ordered universe. And what better way to trust the universe, than non interference with its divine plan? Conscious contact made, I am awake. The mental process however, presupposes an imaginary entity, a body mind. Then thought claims the body mind as it’s in charge…if we believe it! This claiming activity places the horse behind the cart—Consciousness, Wakefulness, the core of our being, which all else depends on, behind thought.

We Are

I am the unchanging awareness of every experience

An object out there is the known and not the real. Not true, illusion, meaningless. The body is an object out there. It is the unknown we live and move in, the known is the past, memory, mind image only. I am all that has ever been, all that is, and all that will ever be. I am the life essence, intelligence energy, no thing, from which the world appears - the Self - formless, unborn, no center, no shape, eternal, I am. The light from above, the light within, Self shining, creating the world and all things in the seeing - all is happening spontaneously - always arising - always beginning - always ending. Accept the What is, without desire to change it - who is here to desire? There is no body here - no person exists - all the world is a projection of Self, the Self shining light I am, a dream existence called world. There is nothing wrong with thinking - thought arises from Self. I am is Self. Self is All in the body. All there IS is Consciousness - life streaming through the organism. The body is a pattern of energy, a vessel of light, the content of space - matter from ether - emptiness, no thing. Produced to contain the I am, the Self - Produced by the producer of all I am, God, No Thing, All There Is. All There Really Is in Reality is One. One Self, THAT, God, I am. Perceived by the senses of Self, the light of God - THAT which I am, Self. The world exists as a projected appearance of Source energy, I am THAT, that mirrored phenomenon - this intelligence energy I am created mind, created space, created time, created Self, and everything else - and Is far beyond it all - beyond birth and death, breath and existence, pain and pleasure, dark and light - the I am that I am is dreaming the character I am, the essence of THAT, Self arising, Self shining - a thought bubble in mind, the One essence or substance that creates and sustains all, the Source and the flow of all there IS - Consciousness - God - the One without a second. The Self - I am! I am the light of the Father - I am the cognizing Energy, the IS that functions this entire universe, projecting light forms in space, patterns of energy appearing on the screen of awareness, empty open space, the blank screen that I am. The I am I am, appearing to Self. I am THAT I am. ALL THERE IS!  I am God in essence, expressing, experiencing, being. Remember this truth, know this truth. Truth cannot be created ….  just IS …. AUM—Amen.
